Work Updates
Motion: Continued working on the intro animation and created a set of icons that I am beginning to animate to be used in presentations and other digital marketing material.
Fabrication: I bought some mini wooden dowels to test printing a single course module into smaller components to be placed together. This worked fairly well but had some inconsistencies. Because of this test and the feasibility of this for full scale, I am thinking about building out the first full scale prototype using wood.
Engineered the connection part: My engineer partner and I met up and created a solution for the joinery. A spring method for the user to squeeze to open, and let go to clamp. He has modeled the first iteration and we are beginning 3D printing tests.
Restarted the Patent: With the joinery and whole idea settled, I began using LegalZoom to start writing a provisional utility patent for the product
