These typographic badges are inspired by the eccentric world of bowling. By combining slab serifs, scripts, and sans serifs, I created a nostalgic look for the type badges. In order to push myself out of my comfort zone, I incorporated outlines and a heavy drop shadow to these badges which helped ground them and enhance the overall aesthetic I was going for.
Experimentation was done in my sketchbook and inside of illustrator to flesh out layouts and unique uses of typography to find a balance between consistency and playfulness.
